Come enjoy our Asheville mountaintop glamping experience in our beautiful 23-foot Ultra Luxe Geodesic Domes, perfect for 1- or 2-person getaways. These domes have some of the best views on our mountain and will provide one of your most memorable travel experiences to date!

Each of our Asheville Ultra Luxe Glamping Domes includes 400 square feet of conditioned interior space and 200 square feet of outdoor living space on an attached deck. Inside you’ll find a plush king-sized bed, a very well-equipped kitchenette, table and chairs, a sitting area, and a luxury bathroom with slate tile shower for 2!

Step outside and you’re greeted with breathtaking mountain views from your private deck with Adirondack chairs and an outdoor dining table. These premium domes have the “best of the best” views, a private hot tub, a fire table right on your deck, and a variety of other luxe amenities, including luxurious robes and slippers! They are also the easiest to access with the shortest, downhill walk from our parking area. All domes are fully insulated, heated, and cooled for a true luxury Asheville glamping experience!

When you’re not relaxing in your personal glamping dome, enjoy the mountaintop experience with 5 miles of on-property private hiking trails, and an additional 10+ miles of public trails in the adjoining Rough Creek Watershed region. Throughout your time exploring, you’ll find scenic outlooks, swings, benches, massive boulders, and restful water features with new discoveries around every corner. No trip is complete without a hike to the summit to take in a sunrise or sunset from 4,334 feet of elevation, with 40-mile views in every direction.

Near our Dome Village is a community area with a large fire pit, Adirondack chairs, outdoor grill, picnic tables, and games to enjoy with your friends or make new ones!

Hands down one of our favorite getaways! If you’ve ever wanted to camp without giving up comfort, this is it. The bed was cozy, the space was beautiful, and everything exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect place to unplug, reconnect, and make unforgettable memories. Jeff & Carlos answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations for the area. I Highly recommend!

My wife and I recently stayed here for 4 days and nights and we absolutely loved it. The views are spectacular and it was very peaceful. There are a couple of things we observed: 1. We went in late June/early July and it was hot out. The domes do have air conditioning but we noticed they did warm up from late morning to late afternoon. As the sun goes down, the domes cooled down wonderfully. 2. Yes it is next to a highway, but in our experience traffic wasn't all that heavy. I think we only really noticed traffic once or twice. 3. Carlos was extremely helpful and welcoming during our stay. They put on a social event with snacks and drinks and it was very fun to meet people from other states. 4. There are areas to grill food near the domes so one evening my wife and I did just that. All told, it was a great stay and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Views are great, beds comfortable, and great amenities. I love that there was the opportunity to mingle with other guests when you wanted or just stay on your own. The pool was stunning! I highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway. In fact, we've already booked another stay!

Amenities were fantastic! Stayed for the 4th of July and saw tons of fireworks across the valley. We enjoyed the breath-taking views from the deck, warming by firepit after dips in the hot tub. The site amenities were great too - we used one of the several grills to cook out and their were tongs/spatula/grill brush at every grill to make it an easy cooking experience. Highly suggest a visit! #abedinambakhutwala for some great pics.

Amazing place to relax and unwind! Beautiful surroundings, quiet, private yet still close to access a grocery or restaurant. Thoughtful amenities like clean gas grills with full propane tanks and grilling utensils and wood cut and stacked for the fire pit. Our geo dome was well appointed with coffee pods, plush bath towels, Turkish towels for the hot tub, a towel for your dog and even ice cubes ready in the trays in the mini fridge/freezer! There was a full moon during our stay and the nighttime views were spectacular! We will definitely be back!

What do I need to bring?

All of our Geo Domes & Glass Cabins are very well stocked with luxury bedding and towels, cookware, dishes, glasses, Keurig Coffee makers and a healthy supply of coffee pods, a Breville countertop oven, hot water kettle, pour over coffee maker, as well as a curated selection of apothecary bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, face soap, and bath soap).

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! We have dog-friendly cabins and domes available in every unit type.  There is a $50 per night fee for one dog and an additional $25 for two. Well-trained and behaved dogs only (60 pounds or less). A leash is required on the property at all times.  You may add your dog in the “add-ons” page just after making your reservation. Once you have added your pet to the reservation, we will know to place you into one of our pet friendly units. Please be sure your pet is treated with preventative care for fleas and ticks!

Can we have a third guest in our Geo Dome or Glass Cabin?

Unfortunately, our Geo Domes & Glass Cabins have a 2-person maximum occupancy to adhere to the fire code!

Are the properties kid-friendly?

Chattanooga: Due to our cliff-front location, our Chattanooga location is Adults Only 21+. Children are not allowed on the property at any time, except with written permission for special events, such as weddings.

Asheville: Children are welcome in our XL Domes but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children are not allowed in our Luxe Domes, Ultra Luxe Domes, Glass Cabins, or Luxe Glass Cabins.

How far are you away from downtown Asheville?

15 miles. We are conveniently located minutes from Highway 40, which can take you downtown in about 20 minutes.

Can I bring a trailer?

We cannot accommodate trailers due to limited parking space.  If you have a special circumstance, please reach out to us before booking to see if we are able to make arrangements.

Can you recommend any local craft breweries?

We love our local brewery in Canton called Bear Waters Brewery. It is only 10 minutes from the Collective and has great craft bear and food. If you want to drive into Asheville, there are too many to mention here, but we love Wicked Weed downtown and Sierra Nevada for a scheduled tour and tasting.

What is your favorite hike?

At GC we love a great view or a waterfall as the payoff for a good hike. Of course our fave hike is at our very own Sunset Summit for guests only at the peek of our mountain.

Do you have grills?

We have gas grills available for use by our guests. Bring your favorite dish to cook and enjoy the panoramic views and fresh air while preparing your meal.  We supply the gas!

Do you have a grocery store nearby?

YES! Ingles is a very well-appointed grocery store that is located at the foot of the mountain, about an 8-10 minute drive away. You’ll also most likely pass it on your way in.

Are there bears?

We are in a beautiful and wild scenic location. There are many forms of wildlife that you will see — including the possibility of bears! For this reason, we ask that you place all food inside your cabin. We also have special bear-proof trash receptacles on premise near the grilling stations, where your garbage should be discarded.

What is the kitchenette equipped with?

Our kitchenettes are well equipped for cooking in but we’re also surrounded by incredible restaurants! You can expect to find the following in your kitchenette:
